Privacy
What we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you have under the GDPR, UK GDPR and California law.
Last updated: October 2026.
In short: we collect what we need to quote and fulfil an order, we send transactional email, we run analytics only with the consent rules that apply to you, and we do not sell or share your personal information.
Who we are
Ceasoned Inc., 310 Busse Hwy #370, Park Ridge, IL 60068, United States, is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. FIELDHOLD is a brand of Ceasoned Inc. Privacy questions and requests: privacy@fieldhold.com.
What this policy covers
fieldhold.com, the quote and order process, and support correspondence. Services we link to, such as payment and analytics providers, are governed by their own privacy policies.
What we collect
- Details you give us. Name, email address, phone number, department or agency, purchase order number, billing and shipping address, and anything you write in a notes field.
- Order and payment information. Items, quantities, amounts, invoices and payment method. Card and ACH payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store full card numbers.
- Correspondence. Emails and messages you send to support@fieldhold.com.
- Site and device data. IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring page and approximate location derived from IP address. This is collected by Google Analytics when analytics is enabled and permitted, as described under Cookies and analytics. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs for security and operations.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information as defined by California law, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.
How we use it, and our legal bases
- To prepare and send quotes, and to fulfil orders. Performance of a contract.
- To send transactional email such as quote confirmations, order acknowledgements and invoices. Performance of a contract.
- To keep tax, accounting and dispute records. Legal obligation.
- To provide support and answer questions. Performance of a contract and our legitimate interests.
- To understand how the site is used. Consent where required in the EU, UK and Switzerland, and otherwise on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the site, with an easy opt-out everywhere.
- To keep the site and our systems secure. Our legitimate interests in preventing fraud and abuse.
We do not use personal information for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not run advertising or retargeting.
Cookies and analytics
We use these browser storage items:
- fh_utm (session storage). Remembers which campaign or referring link brought you here so a quote request can note the source. It is cleared when the browser tab closes and is not shared.
- fh_consent_v1 (local storage). Remembers the analytics choice you make in the cookie banner. It contains no personal information.
- _ga and _ga_<property> (cookies). Set by Google Analytics 4 only when analytics is permitted. In the EU, UK and Switzerland analytics storage is denied until you allow it. Elsewhere analytics starts on and you can turn it off. Google signals and ad personalization are disabled, and we do not use analytics data for advertising.
You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. Clearing site data in your browser also resets the choice. We configure Google Analytics to retain user data for 14 months.
Google's handling of analytics data is described in the Google privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed:
- Stripe for payment processing and tax.
- Resend for transactional email.
- Google for Analytics (with consent where required) and for the internal order log we keep in Google Sheets.
- DigitalOcean for website hosting.
- Hertzian Labs, the manufacturer, for order fulfilment and warranty service where a drop shipment or repair requires it.
- Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, and authorities where the law requires it.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined by California law. We do not send marketing email from this domain.
International transfers
Our providers and servers are primarily in the United States. Where personal information from the EU, UK or Switzerland is transferred, we rely on an adequacy decision such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified, or on Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum.
How long we keep it
- Quote requests and related correspondence: 24 months.
- Orders, invoices and tax records: 7 years, as tax law requires.
- Analytics data: 14 months.
- Server logs: kept by our hosting provider for security and operations, typically for a short period.

- Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent, such as analytics cookies.

- Access, correct or delete your personal information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, but we honor opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control.

Children
This site is for business and institutional buyers. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
